The U.S. tariff exemption for low-value Chinese parcels ended today (2nd) Eastern Time, the Wall Street Journal reported. According to Geekbi data, prices for some products on Pinduoduo (PDD.US)'s Temu platform and fast-fashion platform Shein soared 40-100%.

Goods shipped directly from China on Temu have largely disappeared, with the platform now only displaying items marked as local or import-fee-free, report said. Meanwhile, Shein still offers China-shipped goods, but tariff impacts are no longer separately listed in prices.
